Nikki Remic

*Nikki Remic, chosen as one of Pittsburgh's 40 Under 40,  2007!*

40 under 40

Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, Reiki Master,
&
Cellular Expansion and Healing Practitioner

Nikki Remic discovered at a young age that her passion in life was to help others with their own healing.   After graduating from The Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy's Advanced Training, Nikki decided that she would begin to follow with further education in complementary energy work.  Fascinated by the body's innate desire to be in balance she studied for years to obtain the level of Reiki Master where she was first able to explore the body's methods of communicating imbalance through illness, whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.  Nikki has since deepened her awareness of the body's healing potential through the study of Cellular Expansion and Healing where her experiences have led her to realize that there is no aspect of your life that cannot benefit from the endless growth offered in a session.

Massage is one of the oldest forms of Healing and is a wonderful support to all off the body’s systems, and by incorporating energetic healing into the massage Nikki takes traditional massage to the next level.  You are supported on more than just a physical level so that healing can happen at the root of the cause rather than just treating a symptom. During any massage Nikki will blend Energywork with techniques from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Pregnancy, and Sports Massage to customize each session to meet the individual goals of her clients.  It is important to speak to Nikki about your specific intentions. This will ensure that you receive the most out of your session by an increased level of understanding and willingness to open to support.
Since massage touches every system of the body it is essential to inform Nikki of any existing health conditions so that she may modify your session appropriately.
Nikki will spend time before and after each session to provide suggestions and guidance for self care that will support you in living a life of health and joy throughout your growth of mind, body and spirit.
Nikki is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

While on Nikki's table your body will be supported by warm cushions of water to allow your body to more easily surrender and be at peace.

Imagine a place where you are supported by warm cushions of water and nutured by caring hands...

"Being on Nikki's table is like being embraced in the womb." B.R.

Lili Gill

Lili Gill

Certified Massage Therapist

Lili Gill is a therapist with distinctive skills. As a massage practitioner she has learned to connect with people and to listen with compassion. As a classical pianist she has developed strong hands that are very sensitive to detail. As an avid gardener she emanates a calm and grounded personality. All of these gifts come together to help create a supportive space of healing for her clients.

Lili dedicates time at the beginning of each session to evaluate her client's needs. After carefully listening to the client, she uses a variety of techniques (see below) to customize each massage. In addition, Lili provides an evaluative follow-up with suggestions for self-care at the end of each treatment.

Lili studied at the Cumberland Institute for Wellness Education in Nashville, Tennessee. At Cumberland, she received training in Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Cayce-Reilly Massage, Reiki and Acupressure techniques. In the five years since her schooling, Lili has successfully developed two full-time massage practices.

Two years ago, she learned the art of the Hot Stone Massage through Sacred Stone Therapy®. This therapy combines warm stones with ayurvedic techniques of healing to give a profound sense of deep relaxation and "groundedness". Furthermore, Lili has broadened her knowledge of working with pregnant women through Elain Stillerman's Mother Massage® program, which allows Lili to offer women support throughout this transitional time in their lives. In starting her new practice in Pittsburgh, one of Lili's aspirations is to continue to develop her work with expectant mothers.

When not washing massage sheets, Lili devotes time to her other loves in life: the piano, gardening, cooking and her husband, Michael. She holds a Master's degree in music and enjoys teaching piano and accompanying singers and instrumentalists. She is also fluent in French and Serbo-Croatian.

Sarah Bauer

Sarah Bauer

Certified Massage Therapist

Sarah Bauer became interested in the human body when she first started dancing at the age of seven.  This interest in movement and the physical body led her to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts to major in Contemporary Dance.  Her background as a dancer has given her intensive experience with anatomy and nutrition. In addition to her study of the physical body, Sarah also studies Eastern Philosophy and Earth-based religions giving her the ability to integrate spirituality, meditation and insights into her hands on therapies.
Sarah’s search for a path that would fulfill all of her passions has led her to a career as a massage therapist.   As a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy’s Foundations program Sarah created a cross-disciplinary study in Medical Massage and Asian and Energy Therapies for her Advanced Diploma. This approach of East meets West gives Sarah a powerful combination to truly address the body as a whole.
As a bodyworker, Sarah takes time before each session to listen to her client’s needs and dialogue about their personal health goals. During the massage, Sarah applies knowledge of the physical body in conjunction with loving touch and energy work to provide a well-rounded session. Afterwards, she will check in and may make suggestions for self-care that will optimize the effects of the massage.

While on Sarah's table your body will be supported by warm cushions of water to allow your body to more easily surrender and be at peace.

Imagine a place where you are supported by warm cushions of water and nutured by caring hands...

Beth Celender is a loving spirit who is dedicated to enriching the lives of others through her therapeutic bodywork.  Beth's synergistic blend of strong hands and a caring heart offers each individual she works with a form of balanced work addressing body/mind/spirit. Through her hands-on work she looks to offer others not only physical relief, but also emotional relief by providing a sense of peace, comfort and security in her all of her sessions.  Beth's massage is sure to suit the needs of anyone looking to relax and recharge from the stress of everyday life.

Beth's love for a more relaxed lifestyle came from the peace she found during her four years spent in Boone, North Carolina.  After moving back to Pittsburgh Beth made it her goal to be a part of something that would provide others with the same level of peace that Boone brought to her. During this pursuit Beth discovered a love for massage therapy and the effects it has on quality of life. She learned first hand about the impacts massage can have, making people feel more comfortable in their bodies, and more balanced inside and out.

Beth graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy where she studied a variety of massage techniques from relaxing Swedish Massage to Deep Tissue work.  During her studies Beth became inspired by the healing effects that come from focusing  on the feet.  With her extra attention to detail, Reflexology has become a passion in her work.  This amazing detailed work and her ability to connect with others motivates her to take the time to discuss your individual needs before each session so that she can customize her work to best reach your health goals.

While on Beth's table your body will be supported by warm cushions of water to allow your body to more easily surrender and be at peace.

Imagine a place where you are supported by warm cushions of water and nutured by caring hands...
