Friday evening the massage therapy spaces at the Pittsburgh Center for Complementary Health and Healing were transformed into an Art Gallery for the show "Within and Without" by Douglas Nelson.  We had more people than expected join us for the opening, and it was wonderful!  The center was filled with laughter, hope, inspiration.  It seemed that all who purchased art had a deep connection with the piece that they chose.  My belief is that the art is not just beautiful, I insist is alive with enegy!   Those who attended left thoughts on what some of the art should be titled, and here a

I am absolutely guilty of wearing flip flops in the summer, or no shoes at all The pain that I felt in my feet recently ignited the idea for this blog. It really stinks when you have no one at the other end of the couch willing to hand out a quick foot massage for relief when you finally get to lay down at the end of the day. Flip flops are a common shoe for the summer time. But the problem is, they offer very little cushioning and no arch support. This forces the wearers to be walking in an unnatural toe-gripping way.

Changing the Mood with Our Words
