Temporary Closure Due to COVID-19

Dear PCCHH Community,

As the concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continue to grow, stress rises, and we are all faced with uncertain times, we have decided to make the decision to close PCCHH as of Monday, March 16th and remain closed until at least Wednesday, April 1st

If you have an appointment already scheduled during this time we apologize for the inconvenience, and we will be reaching out individually as well.  We appreciate your understanding and we hope to be able to accommodate you as soon as it is advisable.  We will continue to be in contact and keep you updated in the coming weeks.

This decision has come after much consideration for the interconnected well-being of you, your family, our staff, their families and our community as a whole.  At this time the best way to continue to support the health of our community is to assist in the city’s efforts of social distancing by temporarily pausing business. We hope that by making this decision we can help prevent more suffering from the impact of this virus and help restore health and balance for our community and entire world population.

That term “social distancing” feels so counter intuitive when what we need in times of stress is to feel connected. Please know that we will still have your well-being in our hearts.

What we know is that one of the reasons why bodywork is so valuable is that the energy of connection is a powerful bridge for healing. In this time when we are being told to remove ourselves from the physical connection of others fear can feel almost overwhelming. Please know that you are not alone.  While we may each be physically away from one another we are all still connected.  If you can take time daily to still connect with your breath, your body, your heart and soul you will find the place inside you that knows hope, knows love, knows peace.  In this place of connection, we are all united, and you can choose to align here with each breath.

In our last email I sent a quick breathing exercise that many of you wrote back that you appreciated.  I am including it in the bottom of this email as well as a continued reminder as well as the following:

Today I invite you to step away from the media and take a few minutes

to bring in a moment of connection for yourself.

Close your eyes and place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.

Take three deep breaths here.

Feel the rise and fall of your belly,

Feel the rise and fall of your chest.

Notice yourself

Now set your intention to send love to yourself, flowing this love from your hands into your body.

Stay here for a few minutes allowing yourself to fill with this love to comfort all the parts of you.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to find out more information about receiving distance energy sessions from the comfort of your own home. (412)242-4220

In Peace,

Nikki Remic and the PCCHH Staff.

Inhale for a count of 2

Pause your breath for a count of 1

Exhale for a count of 4

(repeat this breath at least 3 times)
