Every client’s needs are unique, which is why we take the time before and after each session to thoroughly understand their individual massage goals. Various speed, pressure, and massage techniques such as Swedish, Neuromuscular (deep tissue/trigger point), Myofascial, Sports, Lomi lomi, Reflexology, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage and gentle Laying-on-of-Hands may be combined together in a session with open hearts and listening hands.

Aromatherapy, Breathwork, and Visualization may also be used to customized your massage to help lift your spirits and relieve any stress that you may be experiencing from the day-to-day grind.

Pregnancy & Post-Partum Massage

For the expectant mother-to-be a Pregnancy Massage provides her with support for her changing structure. As the pregnancy progresses, a mother is faced with physical and emotional challenges that can be overwhelming. Issues such as low back pain, sciatica, swelling, sinus pressure, pressure on the ribs, and general fatigue make it hard for her to keep up with her daily life and perhaps other children. Pregnancy massage aims to help women become more accepting and aware of their bodies, reduce discomforts and pain, and thus better prepare them for labor. After delivery, massage therapy aids and quickens the natural recovery process as well as reduces the chances of post-partum depression.

Oncology Massage

Massage therapy can be a wonderful complement to traditional cancer treatments. Living through cancer treatment can prove to be a physically, emotionally and spiritually challenging time. The cancer is treated as an enemy and as a result the body deals with new challenges and hardships. Changes may happen in energy and comfort levels as well as physical appearance. All of these things in addition to feelings of being out of control, depression and frustration can affect someones relationship to their body. Massage introduces a loving touch along with the stress relief and pain relief that may help to heal emotional and physical issues related to cancer treatment.
For those in chemo therapy, our therapists are trained to help you figure out when is best for you in your chemo cycle to receive a massage. It may also help to calm the nerves, decrease pain, nausea and fatigue as well as help reduce other side effects of treatment.
Our therapists are trained to provide individual care to suit the needs of our clients by modifying speed, pressure, positioning, length of session time and site involvement (such as IV’s, drains, skin conditions, edema, and any lymph node or bone involvement).

Footwork has been used in the healing arts for many centuries with the belief that the feet reflect a map of our body corresponding to exact organs and tissues. Reflexology is believed to be beneficial for cleansing the body of toxins, inducing relaxation, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and balancing out energy. Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a guided process for self-empowerment, healing trauma, and addressing difficult life challenges.
