Stepping into the center is in itself a calming experience. The atmosphere is a respite form the bustle of Braddock Ave. Soft-spoken Sarah uses the mighty strength in her heart and hands to dissolve the kinks in my mind and body in a caring, logical way. I leave with a peaceful outlook and a healthier body.

Rebecca Aqra
With a 2002 degree in Advanced Bodywork from Career Training Academy in Monroeville, Rebecca has been happily working as a massage therapist for almost 10 years.
During a summer working at the beach, she contemplated her future and a career that would make her happy. A coworker gave her her first massage and loaned books relating to the field and something just clicked. Rebecca loved the idea of this being a lifestyle and not just a 9-5 job. She returned to Pittsburgh where she completed a two year associate degree.
Upon graduation, she was offered a teaching position, but felt she needed some hands on (literally!) experience first. She worked for a year before accepting a job at Steiner Leisure Company in London, which supplies therapists for cruise lines. She trained at Steiner Elemis Academy in Stanmore, UK where she received a priceless education working with massage therapists from all over the world. She gained knowledge in specialized treatments including Balinese, Shiatsu and Lomi Lomi. She used world renowned Mandara Spa techniques while working for Seven Seas cruises in Europe. She later worked for Celebrity Cruise Lines, specializing in Reflexology and Hot Stones.
After returning home from her travels, she worked for a downtown Pittsburgh spa as a coordinator and manager. Upon meeting her wonderful husband, and having two children, family became her priority but she never forgot her passion for massage therapy. She has recently found a great fit with PCCHH. Here, she is able to customize her treatments and use all the amazing techniques she has learned through the years, while perfecting specialized treatments such as Pregnancy Massage, Acupressure and Lomi Lomi.
Rebecca continues to be awed by the power of therapeutic touch. She hopes to continue to learn and grow as she provides personalized treatment to those who can benefit from her special gifts.
