Massage is one of the oldest forms of Hands-on Healing, and is a wonderful support to all of the body’s systems, and by incorporating energetic healing into our massages we take traditional massage to the next level. You are supported on more than just a physical level so that healing can happen at the root cause rather than just treating a symptom. The human body is extremely intelligent. When we feel discomfort, this is a message from our body letting us know that it needs some attention. Often times we walk through life holding tensions and pains without addressing them, accepting discomfort as the norm. Massage hones our self-awareness. Receiving regular bodywork is a great step to eliminating these chronic pains and preventing small problems from growing. As we become more acquainted with our bodies we take on a proactive approach to health in order to achieve higher levels of well-being. *It is important to speak to your therapist about your specific goals and intentions for the session. This will ensure that you receive the most from your session through an increased level of understanding and willingness to open to support.* Since massage touches every system of the body, it is also essential to inform your therapist of any existing health conditions so that she may modify your session appropriately.

Acupressure Using a deep but gentle finger pressure on specific acupoints, blocked energy starts to release which allows the mind and body to relax. Acupressure produces a deep level of relaxation that allows us to reduce stress and strengthen the body's natural healing ability. Shiatsu Shiatsu means "Finger pressure." Natural body weight is used when pressure is applied on specific points on the body. Through the pressure, the energy flowing within the body's meridians becomes influenced. The purpose of this technique is to correct the imbalance of the body and maintain health. Imagine a place where you are supported by warm cushions of water and nurtured by caring hands...
