Spring Cleaning is for more than just your house: It is for your body, mind, and soul!
It’s Spring! You know what that means: It’s time for spring cleaning. I know some of you might be thinking, 'I hate to clean' while some of you, like me, feel it is part of your internal clock. This year, as I began to think of the list of projects I want to tackle, I decided not only will my house get cleaned out, but my body, mind, and spirit will too. You might be laughing right now, but I know lots of people who do this every year and don’t even realize it.
How many of you start getting pedicures so your toes look cute in sandals? Or start exercising for swimsuit season? If you have done either of this things, you are a spring cleaner! Below is a list of ideas I have come up with to get myself “cleaned up” this spring; I hope they inspire you.
BODY:
1. Try our New Cranberry Yuzu Body Polish Treatment! An invigorating session that will exfoliate dry winter skin away.
2. Exercise! Make it easy for yourself: Go for a brisk walk after dinner and enjoy the sunset you were missing during those dark winter months. If you need motivation, book a private yoga session with Ashlee: Not only will she help you get the exercise you need, but she will show you that yoga is great for your spirit too.
3. Time to Detox! That’s right: Take the time to let your system rebalance. Our Steamy Wonder Mud Detox is perfect for helping your body reset.
MIND:
1. Take time to make a “to-do” list that includes you. You make time for the dishes, the emails, the meetings, and the laundry, but you also need to make time to clear out all of the stuff you have crammed into your mind. Give yourself the permission to relax and just
be.
2. If your mind is racing or you can’t sleep, maybe it’s time to try a Cellular Expansion & Healing Session. Set your intention to be calmer and happier, and see what happens.
SPIRIT:
1. Reconnect with your inner child. Play that favorite game you had when you were six. Go for a hike; paint a picture; turn the music up and dance. Allow yourself to get caught up in the moment, then reflect on how you feel. Ask yourself, “Why don’t you take more time to enjoy yourself?”
2. Help a friend or loved one who may have been cooped up all
winter. Helping others feeds the soul.
I hope your spring cleaning is fun, healing, and serves as a new beginning for you: It's what spring is all about.
