Wednesday, December 20th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm

In Taoist Five Element Theory each Element (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) represents a host of characteristics including emotions, colors, internal organs/systems of the body, and a season. Winter is the season of the Water Element; our ancestry, instinct and creativity.
When we feel supported and safe in the present moment (Earth) we are better able to "cut away" what is no longer needed (Metal) so that we can rest and recharge (Water), become more flexible in our growth (Wood) and move in the direction of our purpose (Fire).
During this two hour workshop we will use the template of a restorative yoga class with extra props (pillows/blankets provided by the center) to enjoy more therapeutic/supported postures which allow for a deep relaxation and release of tension. There will also be self-acupressure, gentle yoga, qigong movements and a Reiki Experience, a guided meditation to further facilitate the balanced flow of energy through your being.
Through stimulating the parasympathetic nervous response, these practices support our innate healing response and encourage our inner alchemy or personal transformation.

Cost for Workshop: $40
Only 4 spots are available in this nurturing semi-private experience!
